This Just in From Fort Leonard Wood, MO

We just got off the telephone with Jake. He is doing laundry and getting things ready to turn in so he can come home! We have promised to be the first to arrive so he can be among the first to go home. Tomorrow his girlfriend will be here around 3 in the afternoon and 11 hours later...we will be on the road. He said the roads are icy up there right now. But we have a day and a half to pray that stuff away. It's going to be so good having him home.

  1. I'm sure the excitement and anticipation is hard for all of you. God bless.

  2. I know you guys are getting so excited. I'll bet there's also one anxious soldier ready to head home for the holidays. I pray it all goes smooth and you guys be careful. love ya, Trish

Can't wait to see pictures of the homecoming.

  3. Have a safe and enjoyous reunion. This will make Christmas extra special for all you.

  4. Oh boy, he's almost home! I'll bet you're totally excited. We're praying for his safe trip too. I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful time together. God bless y'all! ♥ ∞

  5. Wow...the army must be different than coming home for college.......You won't have any laundry to do....Blessngs on a great time with your son. Strider

  6. Oh I'm so excited for you! You must be so very proud of him, and in just a few hours you will see him again!
